How Age is Calculated

Age is calculated by counting the number of complete years, months, and days elapsed between the date of birth and the reference date. For example, if you were born on March 15, 1990, and today is February 19, 2026, your age is 35 years, 11 months, and 4 days. A "complete year" counts only when both the month and day have passed — so if your birthday is March 15, you do not turn 36 until March 15, 2026.
