Upload any image to instantly view EXIF data, file info, GPS, camera settings & color palette — 100% in your browser.
EXIF (Exchangeable Image File Format) is a standard that embeds metadata directly inside JPEG, TIFF, HEIC, and RAW image files. It stores camera make and model, lens info, exposure settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO), flash status, focal length, and the date/time the photo was taken.
Many smartphones embed precise GPS coordinates into every photo. This tool reveals those coordinates so you can check what location data is stored — and whether it should be removed before sharing publicly. All analysis happens locally; your images are never uploaded to any server.
Beyond EXIF, images can contain IPTC (captions, copyright, keywords), XMP (editing history, software used), color profiles (sRGB, Adobe RGB, P3), ICC profile info, and thumbnail previews. PNG files store textual chunks; GIF stores loop counts and delays; SVG stores viewBox and embedded code.
